New Online Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy

PMI has hired a program director and is in the process of developing a new online Bachelor of Science program in Respiratory Therapy. The Bachelor of Science degree will be intended for respiratory therapy professionals seeking a baccalaureate degree completion program. The online program will prepare students to develop professional leadership skills, acquire advanced knowledge of health care systems, and apply critical thinking in their personal and professional life. The general education within the program will give students the opportunity to explore and integrate information beyond the specific focus of their major and to build a foundation for life-long learning. The BSRT program is targeted to begin mid 2010 pending ABHES approval. For questions, contact Deb Ayers at dayers@pmi.edu.

First Health Care Administration Alumni!

We recently celebrated our first graduates from the Health Care Administration program. This new online associate degree program provides students the opportunity to continue their employment while working on their degree. Graduates of PMI’s Medical Assistant, Coding and Billing or Pharmacy Technician Program automatically qualify for this program. Health Care Administrators manage and support the business side of a health care facility. We currently have about 100 students enrolled in the HCA program and we are currently accepting students for the next class beginning August 30th. Check out PMI’s main website to get more detailed information.
